A smoothing kanna for finishing surfaces using proprietary 'Super Special Steel' paired with traditional wrought-iron body. Made by Tsunesaburō, a long-standing Miki toolmaker established in the 1950s, known for consistent quality and innovation. Provides classic laminated performance and excellent feedback.

Dai Naoshi Kanna 台直鉋
A 90° bed standing plane dedicated to truing kanna soles and reference faces, essential for maintaining plane performance. Made by Seikichi Sekikawa under the Tenhiro brand in Echigo Yoita, a region famous for fine edge tools. Sekikawa represents the fourth generation of his family's toolmaking tradition.

Gennō (Hammer) & Handle玄翁と柄
Aida Hiroki Square Gennō 相田浩樹作 全鋼 四角玄翁
All-steel square hammer head hand-forged by Master Aida Hiroki from Echigo-Sanjō. Master Hiroki is a highly respected traditional blacksmith who apprenticed under the legendary Kosaburo Hasegawa, creating entirely handmade hammers using centuries-old techniques. The all-steel construction provides the crisp feedback essential for precise chisel work.
