Who I Am
私のこと
I am a student of Japanese carpentry. This journey began from curiosity about how structures could honor both function and beauty, structure and elegance, intention and accuracy. Now, the journey is just as much about carpentry as it is about language, culture, tradition, and respect.
私は日本の大工の道の学徒です。この旅は、構造がどのように機能と美、構造と優雅さ、意図と正確さの両方を尊重できるかという好奇心から始まりました。今では、この旅は大工仕事だけでなく、言語、文化、伝統、そして敬意についても同じように学ぶものとなっています。
What I Do

From my workshop, I explore traditional Japanese joinery and construction methods, creating both functional structures and objects. This work takes many forms—from building homes that honor post-and-beam traditions to crafting furniture, tools, and functional pieces for daily use.
